GreatBlue Research, Inc., a full-service market research firm, announced today that they will be hosting a music festival on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, EST.

Co-Hosted by NBC Connecticut’s Kevin Nathan and GreatBlue’s CEO Michael Vigeant, this event will be streamed live on both Facebook and YouTube. This music festival will feature four local musical talents and will include interviews featuring local folks who have made a positive impact on their community during challenging times.

Regarding the event, GreatBlue’s CEO Michael Vigeant had this to say, “We are in a time when our residents, businesses and health care communities are all navigating significant impact by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Our students, educators and parents have been doing their best to deliver an engaged home schooling environment, while the country is seeking a balance of conversation, learning and forward movement on racial injustice. One common inspirational connection we all share is…MUSIC. Thus why we created “Jammin’ for Good.”

Michael continued by saying: “Jammin’ highlights Live Music by Connecticut area musicians (streamed online to accommodate social distancing needs in 2020), while bringing folks together locally as well as across the globe. My belief is that a collective deep breath needs to be taken while we recognize and celebrate the good things the many heroes around us are doing on a daily basis.”

Featured in this music festival are the following four bands:

· The PPT’s – A local group described as “born out of an after school happy hour. The goal is to play songs you love to sing along with using crisp harmonies and a great feel!”

· Ned the Band – Another local group described as “The Family Guy of bands searching for obscure songs that remind you of where you came from and unearthing the depths of memories of youth.”

· B & E – Also known as “Banderawk” this group is described as “a new acoustic duo out of Manchester, CT performing all of the great classic, modern, and alternative rock hits you’ll want to hear!”

· Kenny Mehler – The headliner, Kenny Mehler is “a country/rock artist from Hartford, Connecticut who is currently reinventing the standard for solid homegrown music, unforgettable live shows and a truly unique songwriting ability.”

GreatBlue Research wishes to convey their excitement surrounding this event and hopes everyone will take some time out of their Saturday to support local artists and listen to uplifting stories from around the community.
